Austin
UTeach
is where I discovered how powerful hands-on science education can be. Through outreach programs in local Austin schools, I helped students explore engineering and chemistry in ways that felt intuitive, creative, and fun. Many of the students I worked with did not initially see themselves as “science people,” and watching that mindset shift, even a little, was one of the most rewarding parts of the experience. UTeach strengthened my commitment to making science accessible and helping young learners, especially young women, see their own potential in STEM.

Omega Chi Epsilon
has been one of the most meaningful communities in my undergraduate experience. As a member and leader, I focused on creating a more connected, supportive, and accessible environment for chemical engineering students. Through events like Girl Day, World of Engineering, service projects, and revamped professional programming, I worked to bring people together and make our chapter feel welcoming to everyone. OXE taught me how to lead with empathy, build community intentionally, and support students the way I have been supported by others.
Giving back to community
is an important part of who I am. This section highlights organizations whose missions align with the values I care about most, including health, education, equity, and compassion. These groups are doing meaningful work in Austin and beyond, and I aim to amplify their impact by sharing ways to support them. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness, even small actions help create real and lasting change.
